We’re Growing Again!

Welcome to our new team member – Fu Nakashima

We’re excited to welcome Fu, who has flown all the way from Tokyo to work with us for the coming year. Fu joins us from Shimizu Corporation – one of Japan’s leading construction and design companies – and brings nine years of experience as a mechanical engineer specializing in advanced building systems: ventilation, plumbing, energy supply, and indoor climate.

Fu holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and Building Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University and has a strong technical profile with a special focus on simulation-based environmental design. She’s razor-sharp when it comes to tools like CFD, Ladybug Tools, Revit, and all the other nerdy stuff we love.

Fu’s first week in Copenhagen: Rain, rye bread, and a canal tour

Fu’s first week in Copenhagen has included everything from traditional Danish open-sandwiches (smørrebrød) to a boat tour of the canals – and despite the rain, spirits have been high! … Bubbles can fix almost anything!

Both Fu and our Japanese intern, Yuna, got a special first look at the city from the water, and the week has been a warm and cozy start to our international collaboration.

We’re looking forward to a year of new knowledge, shared development, and lots of mutual inspiration. Welcome to Denmark, Fu – we’re so happy to have you on the team!
