The veterinary clinic

The veterinary clinic project: When the four-legged patients need good indoor climate!

In the construction industry, no projects are alike, and here at henrik-innovation, we love it when a project pushes us a little outside the standard framework.

Good construction isn’t just about technology, energy regulations, supply lines, and ventilation ducts – it’s also about comfort.

In this project, we worked to create the best possible conditions for patients with whiskers and tails when they come in for dental cleaning, surgery, deworming, and more at the veterinay clinic, Dyrlægen i Nærheden.

And of course, the veterinarian and staff also deserve excellent working conditions, placing high demands on both comfort and functionality in the building.

Engineering work with a touch of fur

We’ve helped tailor a modern veterinary clinic on the ground floor of a larger mixed-work building developed by Home.Earth i Nærheden – a place where both people and animals can thrive under the same roof.

Our tasks? They’re all about comfort at nose level and efficiency behind the walls:

  • Fresh air for all: We worked on ventilation and extraction systems so that sedated animals, curious noses, and staff alike can breathe freely – without heavy air or hidden chemicals.
  • Dry paws and clean boots: Washing and drainage systems are optimized to ensure that no one has to wlak through splashes or bacterial puddles – whether one has two or four legs.
  • Comfortable climate year-round: We’re improving the indoor climate to make the clinic a place where workdays run smoother – and even the most anxious cat in a carrier might (just maybe) relax a little while waiting for the vet.

Freja can’t wait to visit the new veterinary clinic – she’s definitely ready to give a wagging “top grade” for the great indoor climate there.

The project shows how technical solutions – often hidden behind walls and in shafts – actually play a major role in comfort, functionality, and well-being. Even when the clients say woof, meow, or whimper a little in the waiting room.
