Henrik Innovation participates in a Pollination workshop in London, February 2024

A crucial focal point here at Henrik Innovation is to keep up with industry developments and constantly seek new knowledge within our areas of expertise. Therefore, our two study associates, Helena Hammershaimb and Rikke Krag, participated in a workshop in London this week on Pollination/Rhino/Grasshopper, essential tools in our daily tasks for conducting analyses related to energy, indoor climate, daylight, and life cycle assessments.

Helena and Rikke attended four courses over four days, covering modeling in Rhino, updating Grasshopper from legacy, as well as daylight and energy simulations using Pollination. The new tool, Pollination, enables thousands of simulations across multiple servers, significantly reducing the simulation time for a parametric analysis.

During their time, Helena and Rikke engaged in an exciting discussion on design for separation and circular economy with sustainability expert Mirko Farnetani from Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM).

Before heading back to Copenhagen, they enjoyed an insightful tour of the architectural firm Gensler. Karim Daw, an engineering and computer science student, provided an overview of their workflow throughout a project.

A big thank you to the Pollination team! We closely monitor the software’s development to stay updated on the latest advancements.
