CO2-neutral and climate-neutral design?
On August 21-22, 2024, henrik●innovation participated as a speaker at the Building Green conference, where we focused on the sustainable construction of the future through the use of bio-based building materials.
Our presentation was about the important difference between CO2-neutral and climate-neutral design, where we delved into the concepts, challenges and opportunities for designing climate-neutral rather than CO2-neutral. We highlighted how the current life cycle assessment (LCA), as prescribed in the Building Regulations, handles bio-based materials, and discussed the often overlooked aspects and assumptions that characterize assessments of these materials.
